PETER M. de MANIO - Founder & Head Coach

Peter first rowed as a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania. He took up the sport again about forty years later and competed successfully as a master in both sculling and sweep rowing for several years. In 1991 he began studying to be a rowing coach, founded the Sarasota Scullers Youth Rowing program, which is the predecessor of the Osprey Oars, and his programs have earned an international reputation for excellence.
